David Lawrence Lee
Chief Executive Officer
Came to Georgia in February of 2004 and was the CEO of Magticom, the largest telecommunications company on Georgia, until the end of 2016 and President of American Chamber of Commerce from 2008 until 2012.
He is currently the CEO of Lee LLC and Chairman of the Europe Foundation and CRRC. David has an MBA from Warwick Business School, qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and speaks Georgian and Russian. A former Royal Navy Officer, he has led companies in developing markets since 1990.
Mariam Kuchuloria
Deputy CEO
Over the past few years Mariam Kuchuloria was involved in Public-Private Dialogue activities and serving businesses for adoption of business friendly regulations and policies. Mariam was country Facilitator for the Public Private Dialogue activities within the EU Project “East Invest 2.” To assist in improvement of business environment, enhance competitiveness of SMEs and defend fair competition, Mariam founded non-profit organization Center for Competition in 2015 and was actively involved in competition advocacy.
Mariam is the lawyer with more than 10 years of professional experience. She served as the lawyer for a law firm, bank, insurance company, construction, transportation and energy/hydropower companies.
Mariam received Master’s Academic Degree with a Major in Jurisprudence from Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Law in 2005 and Master’s Academic Degree in International Law from Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) in 2008. She also studied International and Transnational Law at School of American Law, Chicago -Kent College of Law. She is the member of Georgian Bar Association and member of Georgian Young Lawyers Association.
Mariam Tsiskadze
Projects Coordinator
Mariam Tsiskadze became our team member since 1st of July, 2018 and works at the position of Projects Coordinator. She has working experience at United States Agency for International Development (USAID) project Governing for Growth (G4G) as an intern of Advocacy and Capacity Building component. Mariam has volunteering experience at Georgia Red Cross Society and experience of participating in different youth projects. Mariam was the participant and finalist of the USAID G4G nine month project ‘Youth Debates on Economic Reforms’. She is currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from International Black Sea University (IBSU). She is actively working on the issues related to the EU-Georgia Association agreement and especially DCFTA.
Nino Ushvikishvili
Lawyer
Nino Ushikishvili is actively involved in the policy issues and the process related to the drafting legislation of Georgia. Prior to the joining our team, she has working experience at Grant Thornton Georgia LLC as an intern of Legal Advisor and has attended several professional courses and training programs.
Nino holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Tbilisi State University and currently pursuing Master’s degree in Private Law from Tbilisi State University. She has also completed two exchange semesters at the Faculty of Law of the University of A Coruña (A Coruña, Spain) and Lille Catholic University (Lille, France).
Irakli Jibladze
Lawyer
Irakli Jibladze received a legal education at Tbilisi State University Law Faculty in 2015-2019.
In 2017-2018 he was an Intern at Tbilisi Court of Appeals (Chamber for Civil Cases). From May to December 2018 he worked as a paralegal at Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association. In 2018-2019 he was Lawyer of legal company - “Private Lawyer“, LLC. In 2017-2018 he worked as a library manager at Library of law faculty of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
In different times Irakli was a scholar of Scholar of Tbilisi State University.
Irakli joined our team in 2019 and works at the position of lawyer.
In 2017-2019 Irakli was member of editorial board at “Tsu Law Review” - student-run academic journal from law faculty of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
Irakli has participated successfully in numerous international or local projects, including moot courts in business and labor law.
Working languages: Georgian, English and Russian.
Tea Ckonia
Office Manager
Was recruited by Magticom Ltd, the largest telecommunication company in Georgia and within 2000- 2016 has served at different positions. 2000 -2004- the administrative department, 2004 -2012 -PA to the general director; 2012 -2016- PA to the company president.
Tea is qualified teacher of English and Russian languages, graduated from Il .Chavchavadze State Institute of Foreign Languages. She has completed two year Course of Journalism and also has qualification of referent from High Courses of Simultaneous Translation.
Besides Tea Chkonia has several years of working experience as assistant at Pedagogy and Psychology faculty of Il.Chavchavadze State Institue of Foreign Languages and as the Head of Foreign Languages Department at God Children Union’s University of Business and International Law .
Tea joined EBA team in April, 2018 and works at the position of the office manager.
