The EBA Hospitality Committee is comprised of a community with diverse expertise including top managers of five-star hotels, restaurants, leading tourist agencies and organizations. Committee work is aimed at improving standards in the country’s hospitality industry and fully utilizing its touristic potential.

𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐒𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬𝐞𝐧 chair of the 𝐄𝐁𝐀 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞. With her extensive background in the hospitality industry and her leadership at Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace, she is set to provide essential knowledge, experience and strategic direction to our committee.
Her journey in hospitality began in 1997, and since 2004, she has held leadership roles with renowned international brands such as Radisson Hotel Group, Accor, and Marriott. Her career has spanned multiple countries, including South Africa, Russia, Ghana, Nigeria, Namibia, and Georgia. In 2023, she was honored with the “Most Admired General Manager 5 Star Africa” and “General Manager of the Year” awards by the Pyne Awards Africa. A graduate of Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Human Resources Management & Industrial Psychology, Deborah Sivertsen is deeply committed to talent development and enhancing guest experiences.
