The Minister of Agriculture of Adjara, Giorgi Surmanidze, met with the European Business Association CEO, David Lee. Ucha Surmanidze, Head of the Policy and Analysis Department also attended the meeting.

The Prospects for cooperation were discussed at the meeting and Issues of support of agro-companies operating in Adjara were also raised by the Association. The parties expressed a readiness to implement joint projects in the future.

In this context, Georgia’s branding is important as are suitable platforms for co-operation. EBA explained the concept of the European Business Platform that is currently being developed and the need for it to operate in Adjara.
