European Business Association Georgia and its member company Prime Concrete held a closeout event with the Program for their joint initiative, “Piloting a Platform of Cooperation in the Construction Sector to Improve the Skills Match in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region.”
To bridge the gap between the supply of qualified workers and labor market needs in the construction sector, the Program piloted a cooperation platform linking the construction company to the EBA acting as a bridge between the pilot project and the business community in the construction sector, thus bringing a sectoral perspective to the project. By utilizing this approach, Prime Concrete was directly involved in creating highly practical courses aimed at increasing the flow of highly skilled and productive workers, leading to increased efficiency for businesses and high-value employment opportunities for job seekers
The Project was implemented by the EBA together with the support of the USAID Industry-Led Skills Development Program and in cooperation with its member company – Prime Concrete.
