What We Do

Business Representation & Public–Private Dialogue

EBA provides a platform through which companies can raise concerns, share experience and contribute to discussions affecting the business environment.

We engage with public institutions and other relevant stakeholders to communicate business priorities, examine regulatory and operational challenges, and develop practical recommendations. Our approach combines attention to individual member needs with collective action on issues affecting the wider business community.

We promote constructive, transparent and solution-oriented dialogue, supported by business experience and relevant evidence.

Research & Policy Engagement

Understanding the business environment is central to effective representation.

Through business surveys, economic research, consultations and position papers, EBA examines the opportunities and constraints experienced by companies operating in Georgia. Our recurring business climate research helps communicate business perspectives and provides a basis for discussion with policymakers, investors and development partners.

We connect research with dialogue so that findings can inform recommendations, institutional cooperation and the Association’s priorities.

Trade, Investment & International Business Cooperation

EBA supports stronger commercial relationships between Georgia and Europe by helping businesses establish connections, exchange market knowledge and explore opportunities for cooperation.

We facilitate engagement among companies, business organisations, diplomatic missions and international networks. Our work includes promoting export development, supporting business partnerships and helping companies understand the opportunities and requirements associated with international trade.

Through EBA Export Gateway, we provide practical support for companies preparing to export or seeking to expand their international presence.

Skills, Talent & Workforce Development

Investment in people is essential to productivity, innovation and business resilience.

EBA promotes closer cooperation between employers, education providers and public institutions to improve the relevance of skills development to labour market needs. We support employer engagement in vocational education and training, workforce development and professional learning.

Our work also addresses equal opportunities, women’s economic participation and young people’s transition from education to employment.

Through our Workforce & Talent Development service, we help companies identify skills needs and develop practical responses to workforce challenges.

Sectoral Cooperation & Expert Dialogue

EBA’s committees bring together member companies and specialists around shared sectoral and thematic priorities.

They provide a structured setting for exchanging expertise, identifying common challenges and developing recommendations and joint initiatives. Committee discussions connect the experience of individual businesses with broader questions of regulation, standards, competitiveness and sector development.

Knowledge Exchange & Business Connections

Our European & International Connections

EBA’s international relationships connect our business community with wider networks of expertise, commercial opportunities and institutional cooperation.

Our connections with the European Business Organisation Worldwide Network (EBOWWN), the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and CEA-PME support knowledge exchange and engagement with business communities beyond Georgia.
