Dear EBA Members and Partners, proud leaders of the European business community in Georgia,
We deeply appreciate your invaluable support and active participation in EBA Georgia during the first half of 2025. Despite starting the year with ambitious targets, our mid‑year review confirms that, by working together, we have already delivered meaningful achievements.
Over recent months, EBA hosted a strategic mix of networking and member‑centric forums—up to 50 events—purposed to foster peer collaboration, knowledge exchange, and professional connection, significantly boosting our collective organizational insight and network strength.
Our 14 sector-specific committees—comprising top professionals across diverse industries and representing our member companies—have been instrumental in advancing sectoral priorities and nurturing leadership through well‑targeted initiatives and advocacy efforts.
We’re pleased to announce that EBA Georgia has significantly expanded its membership, welcoming distinguished leading companies from a diverse range of sectors—a testament to our growing credibility and impact across the Georgian business landscape. At the same time, we’ve strengthened strategic partnerships with both local and international stakeholders, including prominent international organizations and members of the diplomatic corps. This deepened network enhances our institutional presence and amplifies the opportunities and value we deliver to our members.
We have also made major progress in capacity building. Through tailored training sessions, upskilling workshops, and empowerment initiatives for youth and women—most notably the Women Mentorship in Tech programme in collaboration with BTU and the EBA Youth Academy implemented with our member companies—we’ve equipped participants with in-demand skills, leadership confidence, and effective networking. Capacity building remains at the core of our strategy, and we continue to expand these programmes in alignment with member needs and European best practices.
On the promotion front, EBA Georgia actively showcases members’ CSR and ESG achievements through a mix of social media campaigns, media features, in-person visits, and community engagement events. By highlighting best practices and enabling peer experience sharing, we provide our members with access to international insights and raise visibility for responsible business practices across the Georgian market.
EBA Georgia is extending its international footprint through participation in global platforms. A prime example is our membership in the EBO Worldwide Network—connecting us to over 30,000 businesses across nearly 60 countries—offering access to global opportunities, partnerships, and strategic knowledge exchange.
In advocacy, our engagement with key governmental stakeholders—across healthcare, taxation, labor migration, construction, logistics, and hospitality—continues to ensure that European business perspectives are embedded in Georgia’s regulatory reform. This proactive approach strengthens the business environment, enhances transparency, and aligns policymaking with European standards to foster a conducive climate for investment and growth.
Your ongoing engagement and trust are the engine of our collective progress. We wish you a restorative and productive summer and anticipate returning in September with renewed momentum and growing impact together!
Warm regards,
Mariam Kuchuloria
