Strategic Growth: The Economic Power of Family-Friendly Workplaces

The European Business Association (EBA), in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) successfully hosted the Executive Forum: “Strategic Growth: The Economic Power of Family-Friendly Workplaces” at the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel, Tbilisi. As global investment standards shift toward ESG and responsible financing, the forum highlighted how a “culture of care” has evolved into a fundamental requirement for securing international capital and driving sustainable economic competitiveness in Georgia.
We express our sincere gratitude to our opening speakers, including EBA President John Braeckeveldt, UN Resident Coordinator Didier Trebucq, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation Zane Rungule, Ambassador of Sweden Anna Lyberg, EBA Managing Director Mariam Kuchuloria and UNFPA Head of Office Mariam Bandzeladze, for setting a visionary stage for the event. We also extend our appreciation to our moderator Nana Avaliani and our distinguished panelists: Rolande Pryce (World Bank), Stella Renita (EIB), Nino Esakia (EY Georgia), Beka Sturua (McDonald’s Georgia), Ana Kostava (Bank of Georgia), Levan Kurtanidze (Aversi Pharma), and Irma Daushvili (DIO) for sharing invaluable business cases on translating family-friendly policies into corporate action.
Special thanks go to our partners and donors, as this event was organized within the framework of programmes funded by the European Union and Sweden. Finally, we thank all the executive participants and attendees whose active engagement made this forum a resounding success. Moving forward, the EBA remains fully committed to this agenda and will continue working actively in this direction to support the private sector in adopting policies that empower employees and accelerate business growth.
