Nino Ushikishvili, the EBA Deputy Director participated in a 3-day Conference on Public Procurement Reform and Modernization in
Brussels. Representing EBA Georgia, she participated in a panel discussion alongside private sector representatives from EBA Ukraine, AmCham Moldova, and AmCham Albania, sharing insights, best practices, challenges, and expectations on how to modernize public procurement while ensuring active involvement of the private sector in the process.
The conference, with over 75 stakeholders from 16 countries in attendance, was hosted by the USAID Economic Development, Governance, and Enterprise Growth (EDGE) Project Investment Transparency Activity (ITA). Stakeholders represented over 18 entities including Public Procurement Agencies, Public-Private Partnership / Concession Agencies, AmChams, EBAs, Government Ministries, Prozorro, World Bank, OECD, WTO, European Commission, EBRD, USTR, and CLDP.
