The Mission of the Innovation Committee is to catalyze innovation and foster a collaborative environment where Georgian businesses including Startups and SMEs, government, academia, and society work together to strengthen Georgia’s innovation ecosystem. Through active public-private dialogue, we aim to advance European aligned innovation practices, enhance access to finance, support education aligned with market needs, and drive private-sector engagement in research, technology, and Horizon Europe initiatives. Our mission is to bridge the innovation gap with EU countries, enabling sustainable economic growth and improving the governance of Georgia’s innovation landscape.

Julia is the Head of the Innovation Committee at EBA and Chief Executive Officer of the Georgian European innovation company in the unmanned aviation sector, December 32, as well as Chairwoman of the Caucasus Research and Innovation Center.

The German has spent 13 years in international positions, including various executive positions at a leading entity in the mobility and security sector in Europe, North America and Asia, before she moved to Georgia in 2023. She has a track record of developing and successfully executing international marketing and communications strategies.

Julia holds and MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from AKAD University (Stuttgart) and a Bachelor degree in Business and Marketing from Heilbronn University (Germany).
