To provide a platform which enables members to raise and discuss any legal issues that affect their industries

To promote European values and work on the reforms incorporated in the national action plans for the implementation of the Association Agreement and Association Agenda

George Svanadze is the Partner of MG Law, Head of Litigation Practice and Managing Partner of Andersen in Georgia. He has been practicing lawyer almost for 20 years. He has been serving as an arbitrator in various arbitration institutions since 2011.

He advises clients on general corporate issues, structuring of cross-border transactions of local and foreign companies. He also specializes in international commercial and investment arbitration disputes, conflict of laws, litigation, and M&A.George has obtained his education in Georgian, German and US universities and holds PhD., LLM, MLB and bachelor’s degrees in law and business administration.

George is an associate professor at Tbilisi State University and has been teaching arbitration, business law, international business transactions and Private International Law at various law schools and business schools. His dissertation and other publications are cited by Supreme Court of Georgia. He has conducted numerous workshops and public lectures for attorneys, judges, notaries, public registry lawyers and others. He is a co-author of the textbook of contract law and the new commentaries of civil code of Georgia and also an author of scientific publications in Georgian, English and German languages.

George is founding and board member of various Business associations and professional chambers and their tax and legal committees.
