The Parliament of Georgia hosted the Economic Policy and Reforms Bootcamp – launching event
The event was opened by the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Mr. Shalva Papuashvili
Welcoming remarks were made by the Head of Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee of the Parliament, Mr. Davit Songhulashvili; The Deputy Head of the USAID Mission, Ms. Marika Olson and the Chairman of the EBA, Mr. John Braeckeveldt
The event was attended by the participants of the Project, EBA member companies and partner universities.
The “Economic Policy and Reforms Bootcamp” will educate 90 students of Georgian universities on current economic reforms in Georgia as well as new professions emerging from the economic policy reforms. Successful graduates of the Bootcamp will be offered the paid internship at the EBA or its member private organizations.
“The Economic Policy and Reforms Bootcamp is implemented by the EBA in cooperation with the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee of the Parliament of Georgia and supported by the USAID Economic Governance Program”.
