The second cycle of Girls for Change

The EBA and the USAID Economic Governance Program together with Women for Tomorrow, launched the second cycle of Girls for Change.

Students were welcomed by The USAID Economic Growth Office Director Marika Olson, Board Members of the EBA and Women for Tomorrow as well as representatives of public and private organizations. Honorary students of the Girls for Change first cycle shared their success stories to the audience.

The second part of the event was dedicated to the actual training given by Mrs. Maya Kobalia – international trainer and speaker, Head of Environmental and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee at MFO Crystal and Women Empowerment Component Lead at the USAID Yes Georgia Program.

Girls for Change offers 40 female university students from Tbilisi and other regions of Georgia the opportunity to strengthen their management and leadership skills.

Successful participants will be hired as interns with local private businesses and business associations.
