Lizi Grdzelishvili
EBA Youth Board Member

Lizi Grdzelishvili is an EBA Youth Board Member. She previously completed an
internship at EBA, coordinated the EBA Youth Academy, and contributed to the
development of the EU-Georgia Business Climate Report 2024. She has led several
initiatives to empower young people within the EBA framework.

Lizi is a fourth-year Economics student at the International School of Economics at
Tbilisi State University (ISET). She graduated with honors from IB Mthiebi School
(Class of 2022, Gold Medal). During her third year at ISET, she served as a Teaching
Assistant for Macroeconomics II and Probability Theory. She is also a Brand
Ambassador of ISET.

Beyond academia, Lizi has been actively engaged in international and youth
leadership initiatives. She served as the Curator (2024-2025) of the Tbilisi Hub within
the Global Shapers Community – an initiative of the World Economic Forum. In this
role, she represented the Tbilisi Hub twice at the Global Shapers Annual Summit in
Geneva, Switzerland (2024, 2025) and at the Polish Retreat in Krakow, Poland
(2024).

Lizi is a graduate of the USAID Economic Governance Program’s Career
Development Bootcamp (2024). Her experience also includes serving as a delegate
at the Model United Nations Summit in the ECOSOC Committee at the University of
Amsterdam (2024) and in the IBRD Committee at the United Nations Headquarters
in New York (2023).
