Personal Experience

Maia brings over 20 years of professional experience in consulting and audit services. Since joining BDO Georgia in 2005, she has held several leadership roles — including Partner and Head of Business Advisory — and currently serves as the Managing Partner of BDO Georgia.

From 2019 to 2021, Maia served as an independent member of the Supervisory Board at JSC ProCredit Bank, where she chaired the Audit Committee and was a member of the Risk Committee.

Maia chaired the Sustainability Committee of the European Business Association in Georgia from January 2023 to April 2025, contributing to the development of the Association’s sustainability-related initiatives.

Maia is a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) since April 2019 and has served on the Board of the Independent Valuers Society of Georgia since January 2017.

She graduated from Warwick Business School with an Executive Diploma in Strategy and Innovation and holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
