Personal Experience

Knut Gerber, born in 1959 in Berlin/ Germany, studied foreign trade/ economics in Berlin. He worked for decades in several governmental and private institutions& companies, including the German “Treuhandanstalt” and the General Commissariat for EXPO 2000. Hanover as Plenipotentiary. Since 2003 he has been project leader, freelance consultant and wine& tourism specialist and has implemented projects in Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Germany, Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine. From 2009 to 2015 he worked in the Danube region,developing regional tourism activities and the Danube Competence Centre, Belgrade.Knut has proven experiences in SSME value chain & cluster development, TVET, institutional strengthening of business organisations, tourism and wine export promotion, event planning& management, humanitarian aid and management coaching in transformation processes.Actually, he is working in Georgia as business consultant..
